Lona Mae Shaskan was a creative writing major at Wagner College on Staten Island. She was a pre-school teacher and owned and operated a private pre-school daycare in upstate New York where her imagination was encouraged daily. She loves working with children and has always aspired to help their interest in literature by becoming a writer who makes a difference. She now lives with her husband in Massachusetts working on her writing and publishing career.
